New Heyco® EMC Metal Liquid Tight Cordgrips               

 

Heyco Products Inc, have introduced a new line of EMC Metal Liquid Tight Cordgrips which are ideal for applications where Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) is needed.

 

Manufactured from Nickel Plated Brass with TPE gland these cordgrips offer excellent 360^o shield contact with contact sleeve due to braided shield which runs into the gland. The combination of the sealing insert and the contact socket guarantees a constant contact quality with minimal transfer impedance.

 

EMC Metal Liquid Tight Cordgrips are available in both PG and Metric threads, they also feature a long thread for use in standard or thick panels and give inner cable protection. The range has multiple sizes for cable diameters from 2.5mm (.10”) to 25.5mm (1”) and EMC locknuts are available, the locknuts have cutting teeth to provide optimal shield contact. IP68 rated, the cordgrips have a temperature range of -40^oC (-40^oF) to 100^oC (212^oF).

 

Typical applications include, wind power applications, electronics, electrical junction boxes, generators, telecommunications, aerospace, instrumentation, computer peripherals, and lighting.
