XMAS TREE TYPE FASTENERS

Micro Plastics’ product line of “X-MAS TREE TYPE FASTENERS” has now been expanded to include over 50 new standard sizes, with 8 special item clips. In addition, a metric line of over 20 sizes is also now available.

These uniquely designed fastening snap-in clips feature a ribbed shank that ensures fast and easy installation. Clips hold secure in a wide range of materials and work effectively in blind hole applications.

The metric line accommodates hole sizes of 3mm through 8mm and panel thicknesses from 1.6mm to 50mm.

TECHNICAL SPECS

· The Fasteners are molded in corrosion, abrasion and vibration resistant black nylon.

· Designed to fit mounting hole sizes of 3.2mm up to 9.5 mm.

· Fasteners can be used on panel thicknesses of 1.5mm through to 50mm.

· A variety of head, prong and point styles are available.

NEW POSTS AND SCREWS.

Micro Plastics is pleased to announce “Posts and Screws” as their newest product line. The screws come in lengths of 1/4” and 3/8” and are sold separately from the posts. The posts have an outside diameter of 7/32" with seven sizes ranging in length from 1/4” up to 1”. Both screws and posts are provided in 8-32 thread.

The posts and screws provide a low cost, transparent fastener option. The post and screw combination is comprised of an 832 slotted-head machine screw and a matching internally threaded bushing with an un-slotted binder head.

Parts are molded in a clear polycarbonate material which provides more strength and durability for industrial applications. These posts and screws provide a simple, effective, fast binding solution for a variety of applications; for example, architectural drawings, acrylic displays, swatch book fabrics, leather, and scrapbooking.

SPLIT LOOM

Our factory’s recent plant expansion, coupled with new state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, has reduced production costs on our Split Loom product line resulting in lower, more competitive pricing.

Split Loom, or “split wire loom”, is a flexible corrugated tube with an easy opening seam down the side for quick wire insertion and removal. The wire loom is extruded from durable, black, UL94V2 polypropylene which is resistant to temperature and corrosion conditions.

Split Loom accommodates any manufacturing application, installing easily to provide the best in wire and harness protection. Use Split Loom around your home, on computers and entertainment systems for instance, to prevent safety hazards by organizing cords and wires while making them look neat and attractive.

Split Loom is commonly used in the automotive, HVAC, and appliance industries’ manufacturing processes. The flexible tubing allows easy routing solutions to direct wiring away from heated and moving parts, while the convoluted surface increases the structural integrity and enhances appearance with a uniform finish.

This range currently offers standard sizes from 1/4 inch to 1 inch diameter. Supplied in convenient 100 foot rolls, Split Loom can also be purchased in bulk. Split Loom can be custom manufactured in black polyethylene, and without the split opening, upon request.
