SEALING & RETAINING RING WASHERS

These specialized sealing washers add to our already extensive inventory of over 2000 plastics washers.

Easy to assemble, our sealing and retaining washers are used to lock and seal metal fasteners using the cold flow principle. The torqued nut causes the washer's ID to flow into the screw or bolt threads. The washer's OD will flow outward, completely surrounding the nut base and engaging the hex points.

This complete new product line of washers is designed to fit standard screws sizes, #4, #6, #8, #10, 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2".  Parts are molded in tough,  corrosion resistant  Nylon  6/6.

FEATURE HEX SHAPED HEAD WITH SLOT FOR EASY WRENCH OR SCREWDRIVER INSTALLATION

Heyco Products, Inc., a leading ISO 9001:2000 US based designer and manufacturer of wire protection products and electronic components, has announced availability of their new NPT Threaded Plugs as an addition to their current offering of PG and Metric Threaded Plugs.

Designed with a hex shaped head with slot for easy wrench or screwdriver installation, the new Threaded Plug is a lower cost option over brass or steel NPT plugs, is available in multiple NPT thread sizes from 1/4" to 1", seals threaded openings to protect against contamination and moisture, and provides a liquid tight seal up to 70 psi.

Constructed of electrically nonconductive nylon 6/6, the threaded plug is IP 68 rated and resists oil and heat up to 105°C (221°F). Typical applications include, but are not limited to, household appliances, pneumatic and hydraulic devices, industrial equipment, automotive products, motors, and generators.

These PCB Plastic Battery Holders are specifically designed to firmly retain "AA","AAA", "1/2AA", "2/3A" and "1/3N" cylindrical batteries. They feature snap-in PC contacts which assure stability during wave soldering. These low profile, space saving holders are clearly marked with polarity identification to assure proper orientation.

The bodies are molded from UL 94V-0 rated plastics. Contacts are 0.012" (0.30mm) thick Spring Steel with Tin Nickel plating or Phosphor Bronze with gold flash plating. Optional snap-on, molded PBT UL 94V-0, tamper proof covers which help protect against severe shock, vibration and shorting potential are also available.
