Space-Saving Sub-miniature
Fuse Holders
A new series of compact, space-saving holders for subminiature 8.5mm
(dia.) fuses is available from Keystone Electronics to enable quick
and easy fuse changes in high density circuit board applications.
The new holders feature a unique barrier design to protect leads
from arcing. In addition, Thru-Hole mounting not only secures
placement on PCB's but also maintains positioning during wave
soldering. Low contact resistant tension springs are incorporated
for added reliability and installation ease. Overall product
integrity is further ensured by bases manufactured from UL 94 V-O
thermoplastic with gold-plated, beryllium copper springs and
tin-plated brass pins.
Availabilities are in bulk quantities and include two (2)
"Sturdi-Mount" designs (Part # 3552 and Part # 3556); a low profile
type ( Part # 3554); and the space-saving design (Part # 3553) which
maximizes PCB capacity by permitting components to be placed under
the holder.
