Heyco Offers Cable And Cord Lockits™ For Specialty U-Shaped
Electrical Housing Slots

Products, Inc. has expanded its famous Lockit™ line of electrical
cord set components, with Lockits™ for U-Shaped Housing Slots.

Lockits for U-Shaped Housing Slots are designed to firmly anchor,
safely insulate and durably protect electric cables and cords in
large and small household or commercial appliances or equipment of
any kind. These include portable or fixed devices like hand tools,
lawn and garden equipment, appliances or any application requiring
strain relief in a U-Shaped asymmetric mounting hole.

U-Shaped Lockits also fit consumer and industrial electronics, motor
and pump housings, lighting fixtures and other electrical or
hydraulic assemblies prone to the stresses of pull, push, twist or
pulsating forces in any work environ.
Lockits for U-Shaped Housing Slots offer the same ingenious
self-locking design of other genuine Heyco Lockit strain-relief
bushings. A proprietary design locks into place on round cords,
simply and directly, without need for housing insertion. This allows
Lockits to be preassembled onto electrical cords or cables
for additional time and cost efficiency.
User-friendly
Lockit™ Pre-Assembly Equipment can dramatically reduce the potential
for common repetitive stress injuries in assembly line or other
high-volume applications.

U-Shape Lockits are suitable for use with round cable with diameters
ranging from.220 in. (5.6 mm) up to .290 in. (7.4 mm) in specialty
U-Shape mounting holes with width .512 in. (13.0mm) and depth .453
in. (11.5 mm) for enclosure thickness up to .062 in. (1.6mm).
Lockits for U-Shaped Housing Slots are molded in Heyco’s own
state-of-the-art U.S. plant of high-impact Type 6/6 nylon. Lockits
are UL listed under file#E-15331 and CUL listed under file#LR-8919.
Units have a flammability-resistant classification of 94V2 and
withstand temperatures up to 125°C. Standard Heyco colors are
matte-finish black or white. Custom colors are available. Heyco
Lockit Strain Reliefs have been awarded US Patent number 4,136,602
for their unique design and function.
